We are accepting applications for an Assistant Professor of Biology in the Department of Biology and Chemistry. This is a nine-month, full-time, tenure-track appointment with an anticipated starting date of August 2018.

Responsibilities: Teaches undergraduate and graduate biology courses including human anatomy & physiology and courses in their field of expertise, establishes an ongoing research agenda involving students, advises students, and performs service for the Biology and Biomedical Science programs, department, college, university and region. Engaging in scholarly activity is expected.

Qualifications: A Ph.D. in a biological science is required. Strong written and oral communication skills are essential. Postdoctoral research and college-level teaching experience is preferred.
