UA Little Rock is seeking a tenure-track 9 mo. geographer to serve as Assistant Professor of Geospatial Technologies for a joint appointment in the Departments of History (Geography) and Earth Sciences (Geology). The ideal candidate, through research, teaching, and service, will apply geographic information systems (GIS) and related geospatial technologies to enhance scholarship at UA Little Rock. The candidate will be responsible for providing foundational courses and developing advanced courses for Geography and Earth Sciences.

Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with departments and units across the university to establish and/or enhance geospatial technology curriculum and resources. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Required Education and/or Experience: Ph.D. in Geography or a related field at the time of appointment.
