The Department of Physics at Bridgewater College seeks a full-time tenure-track Assistant Professor of Physics beginning August 2018.

A dynamic physics program at a liberal arts college seeks applications from candidates who value quality teaching, advising and mentoring students. He or she will be expected to teach courses at all levels of an undergraduate physics curriculum, including courses in our general education program, and develop a research agenda that has potential for student involvement. We are especially interested in candidates with expertise in experimental or applied physics areas such as instrumentation or optics.

A PhD in physics or other closely related field (applied science or engineering) is preferred, but exceptional ABD candidates, or those with an MS and teaching or industry experience, will also be considered.
