Saint Louis University, a Catholic Jesuit institution dedicated to education, research, health care, and service, is seeking outstanding applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the ASSISTANTASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSOR level in the Edward A. Doisy Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (http://biochem.slu.edu/). The Department has an outstanding faculty and a long tradition of excellence in research and education. We are interested in candidates with demonstrated ability to address systems relevant to human health in terms of structure and underlying mechanism. A Ph.D., M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. degree, outstanding record of publications, current external funding commensurate to the academic rank, enthusiasm for teaching and mentoring research trainees are important criteria for selection.
