Description: Charleston Southern University invites applications for an Assistant/Associate Professor of Biology. Charleston Southern seeks candidates who are professing Christians, committed to excellence in teaching, scholarship and service. They should support the goals of a strong liberal arts education and be willing to explore with students the integration of faith and learning.

Qualifications: Ph.D. in Biology, emphasis in Anatomy and Physiology preferred.

Responsibilities: Teach 12 credit hours each major semester, contribute to an active and challenging undergraduate research program in a field of expertise; follow university policies related to instruction, attend and participate in departmental and university functions and serve on committees as required; teaching experience and experience in supervising undergraduate research (including grant writing) is desirable.
