The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time, temporary faculty position at the rank of Lecturer. This is a one year position with possible renewal up to three years total. Position start date is August 1, 2018.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Chemistry and/or Physical Science courses as needed to satisfy a full-time teaching workload. It is anticipated that teaching duties will involve primarily lower division (1000- and 2000- level courses), but an ability to teach upper division or specialty courses would be beneficial.
Required EducationMasters degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.
Other DesirableApplicants with at least three (3) years college level teaching along with evidence of teaching excellence, in the form of evaluations by students and/or peers, or those with a doctorate in Chemistry or closely related field will receive special consideration.
