NEUROSCIENCE FACULTY POSITION, FORDHAM UNIVERSITY.

Applications are invited for a tenure-track position at the ASSISTANT PROFESSOR level in the Department of Biological Sciences, Fordham University. The successful applicant will support the interdisciplinary undergraduate Integrative Neuroscience major offered jointly by the Departments of Biology, Psychology and Computer Sciences and contribute to the Biology Department’s vibrant graduate MS and PHD programs. They will have substantial research skills and a strong publication record. Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring is required. The successful applicant will be expected to establish a vibrant research program in the area of cellular-molecular neuroscience that offers opportunities for mentored research by graduate and undergraduate students. The Department provides excellent research facilities, start-up funds and guaranteed 9-month salary and benefits.
