Overview

The Southeastern Oklahoma State University Department of Social Sciences invites applications for a non-tenure track Instructor of Geography.

Candidates are expected to have an earned M.A. geography, with broad interests in the field. Candidates with experience teaching High School are welcomed. Applicants must also be willing to teach online in a seven and sixteen week formats. Experience teaching online is preferred.

Founded in 1909, Southeastern enrolls approximately 3,900 students in 38 undergraduate and 14 graduate degree programs. The university is located in southeast Oklahoma, approximately 90 miles from the Dallas Metro area. The community is close to Lake Texoma and the Choctaw Casino Resort.

Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience. The preferred start date is August 1, 2018, and may require multiple campus assignments as well as varied time and delivery methods. Review of applications will continue until the position is filled.
