Overview

The Lima campus of the Ohio State University seeks a qualified individual with a strong commitment to the teaching mission of the Ohio State University to join the department of Geography as a part-time Lecturer on the Lima Campus. The successful candidate will have expertise and interest in teaching introductory undergraduate courses to weather and climate, economic and social geography, and political geography. Additional expertise and interest in teaching an introductory undergraduate course in mapping is highly desired.

Required Qualifications: Master’s degree in Geography; experience teaching weather and climate, economic and social geography, and political geography; the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Desired Qualifications: Doctoral degree in Geography or related field; experience teaching and mentoring underrepresented minorities and women; interest in developing and teaching a mapping course is highly desired.
