The Biology Department at Dickinson College seeks a cell and molecular biologist to fill a full-time, one-year visiting professor position beginning July 1, 2017. The teaching load is 5 course equivalents per year which will include an introductory biology course with laboratory (molecules, genes, and cells), and an upper-level cell/molecular biology course with laboratory in the candidate’s area of expertise. Opportunities for student-faculty research are available.

The successful candidate must complete the Ph.D. by fall 2017. The ability to create inclusive learning environments for an increasingly diverse student body will be an important characteristic of the successful candidate.
