Outstanding candidates for the Visiting Assistant Professor level, for all areas of Information Technology, or a related area are invited to apply. All areas of specialization will be considered, but we have a special interest in systems analysis and design, and database. Opening is at the Purdue campus in Anderson, IN.
Candidates must have an M.S. or earned Ph.D. degree in information technology, or a related area with outstanding academic credentials. Teaching duties will cover a wide range of the information technology topics at the undergraduate level, with specific emphasis on systems analysis and design, and database. Participation in recruiting and retention activities at the location level is also expected, as is engagement with industry, the community, and colleagues within the computing discipline. Duties will also include location and departmental committee assignments, and other administrative activities appropriate to a faculty appointment.
