Overview

The University of Arkansas at Monticello College of Technology-McGehee ( www.uamont.edu) is seeking applicants for a full-time, nine-month faculty position of Workforce Ed Instructor of Mathematics.

Responsibilities: Teach mathematics to students using a variety of teaching aids, methods and techniques following the state approved curricula. In addition to teaching, the employee will be responsible for developing instructional and lab activities; keeping program and student records; assisting with recruitment, placement, and follow-up; participating in professional development activities; and other duties as assigned. Evening and/or summer hours may be required.

Qualifications: Formal education of a baccalaureate’s degree is required with a master’s degree preferred. Must possess good communication, problem solving, decision making, computer and organizational skills, and be willing to obtain occupational-related certifications as deemed necessary.

Salary: Commensurate with qualifications and experience including excellent fringe benefits.
