Role Description
We are seeking a dynamic and research-driven scholar to join our faculty. The successful candidate will:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organic Chemistry and related disciplines
- Develop curriculum and supervise student research projects
- Build and sustain an externally funded, independent research program
- Publish original work in peer-reviewed journals
- Actively mentor students pursuing careers in chemistry and related fields
- Contribute to departmental service, academic advising, and community engagement
Areas of interest include organic synthesis, reaction development, natural products, physical organic chemistry, biochemistry, and medicinal chemistry.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field (required)
- Postdoctoral research experience (required)
- Demonstrated research agenda with potential for external funding
- Strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate student mentorship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience in securing research grants is a plus
