Role Description

We are seeking a dynamic and research-driven scholar to join our faculty. The successful candidate will:

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in Organic Chemistry and related disciplines
• Develop curriculum and supervise student research projects
• Build and sustain an externally funded, independent research program
• Publish original work in peer-reviewed journals
• Actively mentor students pursuing careers in chemistry and related fields
• Contribute to departmental service, academic advising, and community engagement

Areas of interest include organic synthesis, reaction development, natural products, physical organic chemistry, biochemistry, and medicinal chemistry.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, or a related field (required)
• Postdoctoral research experience (required)
• Demonstrated research agenda with potential for external funding
• Strong commitment to undergraduate and graduate student mentorship
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience in securing research grants is a plus
