Position Summary:

The College of Aviation, Science, and Nursing at Henderson State University invites applicants for a position in Biology at the rank of assistant professor. Candidates with a focus in biological sciences with an emphasis on microbiology, introductory biology, and upper-level biological laboratory skills.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Teaching courses within the discipline at all undergraduate levels,
• Participating in campus committees,
• Advising students,
• Contributing to the development and growth of programs,
• Participating in efforts to improve student success,
• Additional duties according to experience and expertise.

Minimum Qualifications:

Earned master's degree in Biology or a closely related field required.

Minimum of five (5) years of full-time teaching experience in higher education.

Ph.D. in Biology or a closely related field preferred; ABD candidates will also be considered.
