Posting Summary

Rutgers University-Camden, the Faculty of Arts & Sciences, Chemistry Department, is seeking part-time Coadjutants in the field of Chemistry to aid in the preparation of laboratory or lecture courses in Introductory, General, or Organic Chemistry as well as Biochemistry and Forensic Chemistry disciplines for courses in Fall 2026, Winter 2027, Spring 2027, and/or Summer 2027.
Job duties include, but are not limited to: preparation of reagents for chemistry laboratory courses; washing glassware; maintain cleanliness of laboratory space; assist with the preparation of laboratory exercises; assist the primary course instructor with lecture/laboratory preparation and execution; and assist with data processing or chemical inventory.

Position Status: Part Time

Minimum Education and Experience

10 credits of post-secondary education in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field.

Preferred Qualifications

A bachelor's degree may be preferred for some disciplines. Laboratory experience preferred.
