The Texas Tech University College of Arts & Sciences was founded
in 1925 as one of the university's four original colleges. Comprised of 16 departments, the college offers a wide variety of courses and
programs in the humanities, social and behavioral sciences, mathematics, and natural sciences. Students can choose from 42 bachelor's degree

non-tenure track Lecturer position in Chemistry. The Department of Chemistry and Biochemistry at Texas Tech University invites applications
for a non-tenure faculty position at the Lecturer level in chemistry, broadly defined.

Major/Essential Functions
At Texas
Tech University, the Lecturer title designates a full-time, non-tenure-acquiring role with primary duties in teaching organized classes
and/or instructional labs.

Primary Job duties will be teaching lecture/recitation courses/sections as assigned. Performance
assessment may include student evaluations of course, peer teaching evaluations, and other objective measures of teaching effectiveness.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry or a closely related field.

Acts as a non-tenured track faculty member of the
department and abides by Departmental and Texas Tech University policies and/or law pertaining to faculty of the institution. A demonstrated
and ongoing commitment to serving student populations and experience working with student populations and first-generation students is
highly desirable. Service to the department, college, and the university is expected.

Faculty Qualifications
A Ph.D. in
chemistry or a related field.
