Description:
The
Department of Anthropology at Baylor University seeks a permanent full-time lecturer (non-tenure track) to teach four courses per
fall/spring semesters in a thriving forensic science minor. The ideal candidate will contribute to multiple courses in the current
curriculum (see Forensic Science Minor | Baylor University Academic Catalog), serve as an advisor to the student forensic society,
and mentor undergraduate students on research projects who have interests in forensic science. This appointment is a renewable 9-month
full-time, benefits-eligible, teaching-focused position with a 6-year promotion path to Senior Lecturer for successful candidates and a
12-year promotion path to Teaching Professor for highly successful candidates (see: https://apptrkr.com/get_redirect.php?id=7321882&targetURL=), serve as an advisor to the student forensic society, and
mentor undergraduate students on research projects who have interests in forensic science. This appointment is a renewable 9-month
full-time, benefits-eligible, teaching-focused position with a 6-year promotion path to Senior Lecturer for successful candidates and a

Qualifications:
Required Qualification:

• A completed Master's degree with a minimum of
  18 hours of course work in Forensic Science or an appropriate related field is required by start date.

Preferred
Qualifications:

• Doctoral degree in Forensic Science or appropriate related field
• Teaching experience at the
  university level in forensic science or related field(s)
• Record of mentoring undergraduate students in research
• Experience
  working in crime scene investigations
• Ability / willingness to connect with professional Forensic Science organizations
