Job Description
Assistant Professor
- Crustal deformation driven by tectonics, magmatism, isostatic adjustment, or dynamic topography
- Sea-level change and coastal and marine landscape evolution
- Subsidence, mass wasting, storm-driven change, and other hazards impacting land areas and ocean margins
- Established a strong record of research productivity, including securing external grants and publishing in reputable, peer-reviewed journals.
- Demonstrated commitment to exceptional multi-mode instruction at the college level beyond teaching assistantship duties, with experience in both large-enrollment introductory courses and smaller upper-division and graduate courses.
- Demonstrated interest or success in outreach efforts to increase visibility, student participation, and enrollment in Earth and ocean sciences.
