Job Description
The primary purpose of this job is to teach courses in the biological sciences, Biology, Anatomy and Physiology etc., serve as course manager for several biology courses, to advise students seeking careers in health-related areas, manage adjuncts teaching several different biology courses and work on assigned committees.

Salary depends on Degree and experience $46,468 – $56,284

Essential Duties Summary
1. Teaching classes and labs (regular load is 4 lectures and 2 (3hr.)) labs.
2. Office hours are spent helping students with lecture material and lab work outside of class, reading and returning emails, returning phone calls, covering classes for other instructors who are out sick and academic advising.
3. Other professional duties include preparing lecture materials, writing and grading test, preparing for lab, looking for ways to improve delivery in class, updating course information on our course management system, preparing for committee meetings, attending committee meetings, and helping adjuncts with course related problems.
Required Qualifications
Master’s degree in one of the following: Biological Sciences (Anatomy, Cell Biology, Biology, Genetics, Histology, Immunology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Parasitology, Pharmacology, Physiology, Virology, Zoology) and 9 graduate semester hours in Anatomy and Physiology.

Other degrees can be considered along with job experience in teaching Anatomy and Physiology.
