Rockford University invites applicants to apply for a tenure-track Assistant Professor in Physiology. A Ph.D. in biology, biochemistry or related field is required along with evidence of excellent teaching. The primary focus of the position is enthusiastic and effective teaching in human and comparative anatomy and physiology. Ability to teach introductory biology courses and upper division genetics, developmental biology, neurobiology, and/or organismal diversity courses will be considered a plus. Top candidates will also be able to teach an upper-level course in genetics. Enthusiasm for teaching in a small-college liberal arts setting is essential. An active program in undergraduate research with students is expected.
