Limestone College seeks qualified applicants for a 9-month, tenure-track position in the Computer Science & Information Technology Department. The primary teaching responsibility will be in the area of Systems Security/Cybersecurity. Applicants should also be able to teach a variety of core and elective courses within the Computer Science & Information Technology Department. A start date of August 2020 is required.

Position Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate computer science and information technology courses in both online and classroom settings.

Assist in the recruitment of students for the Computer Science & Information Technology Department.

Collaborate on departmental initiatives ranging from accreditation and assessment activities to course and program development.
Work with appropriate vendors, the Computer Science & Information Technology Department Chair, and the Natural & Health Sciences Dean to implement a virtual cybersecurity lab where students will gain workplace experiences in security concepts.

Job Requirements:
A PhD in computer science or related field.
