Job Description

The Department of Integrative Biology (IB) at the University of South Florida invites applications for a full-time, continuing, non-tenure earning teaching faculty at the level of Assistant Professor of Instruction. This will be a 9-month appointment to begin August 7, 2026. The successful candidate would become a voting member of the IB department and have the opportunity to supervise undergraduate research and progress through USF's Professor of Instruction promotional path.
    Responsibilities
      The successful candidate will be asked to teach 3 courses per semester, including Human Anatomy & Physiology, Animal Science, Introduction to Animal Anatomy, or General Physiology. The successful candidate may also develop an upper-level course within the candidate's specialty. Supplemental summer appointments may be available, depending upon the needs of the University and the availability of resources.
