Overview

The instructor will collaborate with the Associate Dean to assist students in accessing learning and attaining educational goals; facilitate learning by providing varied learning experiences and teaching in instructional modalities as assigned; and professionally represent the college, its role, and mission. The instructor will meet the education and work experience standards outlined in the job specifications. The instructor will perform duties and responsibilities in accordance with college policies and procedures and accreditation standards.

Master’s degree in biology, with competency in general biology and anatomy and physiology; or Master’s degree plus eighteen graduate hours in biology. Preference will be given to candidates with an ability to develop and teach innovative, online biology courses, employing such technological resources as Labster and the Anatomage table. Three (3) years of experience teaching biology, with experience in various teaching modalities (lecture, online, hybrid courses) preferred.
