Overview

Ferrum College is seeking applications for the tenure-track faculty position of Assistant/Associate Professor of Chemistry for the 2021-2022 academic years. The successful applicant will teach general chemistry, analytical chemistry, and physical chemistry and advise students in chemistry and the pre-professional health sciences. A Ph.D. in chemistry (with expertise in analytical/physical chemistry) is required. Experience in water quality research, particularly total nitrogen and total phosphorus by flow injection analysis and metal analysis by atomic absorption and supervision of undergraduate student research is preferred. Salary will depend on qualifications and experience. Review of applications begins immediately.
