The Department of Biology at Kutztown University invites applications for a full-time tenure-track biology faculty position to begin Fall 2022. Required: Earned PhD or equivalent in human biology or related field by start of fall semester classes. (ABD will be considered with evidence of completion by start of fall semester classes.) College-level teaching experience also required. Successful interview and demonstration of relevant ability required. The successful applicant will be expected to teach and develop courses that primarily serve students in our Pre-medical/Allied Health programs, as well as other courses offered in the department such as research methods and introductory biology courses for majors and non-majors. Applicants whose research focuses on human health will be given special consideration. The successful applicant will be expected to develop a research program that involves undergraduates and to mentor and advise Pre-medical/Allied Health students. Salary competitive.
