Oral Roberts University’s Computing and Mathematics Department invites qualified candidates to apply for a full-time tenure-track. Assistant Professor of Computer Science position will be open until filled.
Ideal candidates will have the ability to teach across the entire Computing & Mathematics department curriculum, with exact teaching duties determined by qualifications, expertise, and research interests. Candidates will be expected to remain current within their academic discipline and to lead an undergraduate research group but primarily to demonstrate excellence in teaching. In addition to teaching and research, candidates will be responsible for advising students, developing new courses – especially for our growing online curriculum – and serving on various university committees as a full-time, tenure-track faculty member of the Computing & Mathematics department.
Education & Experience Requirements
Candidates should have a master or doctorate degree in the field of Computer Science, Computer Information Technology, Data Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
